Introduction

This expansion to the rules I have placed on my web site deals with the events around and including the final battle of the One Year War, as well as Mobile Weapons used during this time.

Shield Missle Launcher: The Shield Missle Launcher was the standard ranged armament of the YMS-15 Gyan, where it served both an offensive and defensive purpose. The Shield Missle Launcher acts like a normal Mobile Suit shield, except that it may absorb 40 points of damage before being destroyed, instead of only 25.

Weapons: 2x Fire-linked Main Battleship Cannons, 8x Small Ship Missle Launchers, 8x 155mm Defense Turrets, 2x Mega Particle Cannons.
Firing Arcs: Battleship Cannons- Front; Missle Launchers- Front; Defense Turrets- 2 for each arc; Particle Cannons- Front.
Notes: 1) The Pegasus-class carriers were equipped 2 Mobile Suit launch catapults. Launch catapults fire the mobile suit out onto the battlefield at great speeds, allowing them to enter combat faster then other mobile suits launching by conventional means. To represent this, any Mobile Suit launching from a Pegasus carrier are moved straight forward from the ship 400 meters, which counts as a full round action. If in space the Mobile Suit being launched counts as a spacecraft moving at Attack speed for purposes of attack and defense rolls. Also, a launch catapult may only be used once every three rounds to launch a Mobile Suit. Various refits of the Pegasus-class design were given additional launch catapults, usually bringing the total to 4.

Size: Huge Standard Weapons: 1x Beam Rifle, 2x Beam Sabers, 1x Hyper Hammer, 1x Hyper Bazooka, Head Vulcan Guns.
Crew: 1 pilot (+12 Ace) Speed: 75 meters (150 meters max)
Notes: 1) The RX-78-2 Gundam is equipped with the core block system. 2) Equipped with Magnetic coating upgrade. 3) The Gundam was a unique Mobile Suit, built to withstand some of the most powerful blows, even from other Mobile Suits, so it gains a small amount of its Damage Reduction against othe Mobile Suits as well. 4) Players may only pilot the Gundam if the have 5 levels in the Newtype Mobile Suit Ace prestige class and Mobile Suit Piloting (Newtype).

Dolos-class Carrier

Cargo Capacity: 500 tons, and 182 Mobile Suits.

Weapons: 6x Mega Particle Cannon Turrets, 4x 155mm Defense Turrets.
Firing Arcs: Mega Particle Cannons- 1-3, Right; 4-6, Left. Defense Turrets- One per firing arc.
Notes: 1) The Dolos-class carriers were equipped with 7 Mobile Suit launch catapults. Launch catapults fire the mobile suit out onto the battlefield at great speeds, allowing them to enter combat faster then other mobile suits launching by conventional means. To represent this, any Mobile Suit launching from a Dolos carrier are moved straight forward from the ship 400 meters, which counts as a full round action. Notes: As with most Mobile Suits of the era, the MS-14 Gelgoog went under many different variant types during its production. The statistics above reflect the MS-14A Mass produced version of the Gelgoog. To represent the MS-14S/YMS-14 Gelgoog, like the one used by Char Aznable during the later portion of the One Year War, give it the communications upgrade for free, and  increase the Gelgoog's speed to 75 meters (150 meters max), and increase its Reflex bonus to +5. To represent the MS-14C Gelgoog Cannon, increase the Reflex bonus to +5, increase its Jump Jet Distance to 100 meters high, 350 meters across, and give it a Forward firing Large Mega Particle Gun mounted on its right shoulder/arm location. To represent the MS-14F Gelgoog Marine, increase the Reflex bonus to +5, increase its Jump Jet Distance to 150 meters high, 450 meters across, also, give the Gelgoog 2x 90mm Gatling Guns, one mounted in each arm.

MSN-02 Zeong
Craft: Prototype Newtype use mobile suit Maximum Speed: Attack (6 square maximum)

Strength: 18/30 Damage Reduction: vs Infantry- 16; vs Mobile Weapon- 2
Reflex: +6 Hit Points: 180 Hit points (Hit Table Modifications: Head- 1-20 (35 Hit points); Right arm- 21-30 (20 Hit points); Left arm- 31-40 (20 Hit points); Torso- 41-70 (80 hit points); Thrusters- 71-100 (25 hit points).
Size: Huge Standard Weapons: 2x Wire-guided arms, 1x Head mounted Mega Particle Gun, 2x Chest mounted fire-linked Mega Particle Guns.
Crew: 1 pilot (+12 Ace)
Notes: 1) The MSN-02 Zeong is equipped with the Psycommu system. 2) The Zeong was unique in that its cockpit was located within the Mobile Suit's head, rather then its torso. To reflect this, apply the rules for destroying the torso and cockpit of an mobile suit and apply this to the head location. Also, the Zeong's head was detachable in case of emergency. If the Mobile Suit sustains 140 hit points of damage, or if using the hit location optional rules, then once the torso section is reduced to 0, the head will be ejected. The head moves at the same speed as the mobile suit, has a defense of 20, 5 damage reduction against infantry, 0 against mobile suits, it has 35 hit points, or however hit points is remaining on the head location if using the hit location rules. 3) Players may only pilot the Zeong if the have 5 levels in the Newtype Mobile Suit Ace prestige class and Mobile Suit Piloting (Newtype). 4) Also, the Zeong may have a pair of 'cosmetic' legs attached, if they are attached, the Mobile Suit has a ground speed of 50 meters (100 meters max).

YMS-15 Gyan
Craft: Prototype general purpose mobile suit Jump Jet Distance: 100 meters high, 300 meters across
Class: Space/Ground Defense: 24/26 (-2 size, +16 armor, +2 shield*)
Strength: 18/30 Damage Reduction: 13/14 (+1 shield*)
Reflex: +5 Hit Points: 125 Hit points (add 5 to both arms, 5 to legs, and 5 to torso)
Size: Huge Standard Weapons: 1x Beam Saber, 1x Shield Missle Launcher
Crew: 1 Pilot (+8 Expert) Speed: 65 meters (130 meters max)
